Titel: Ophthalmologische Nothilfe im Kriegsgebiet

Ziel: Rettung vor Erblindung bei Patienten nach schweren Augenverletzungen in zerstörter medizinischer Infrastruktur.

Beginn: 05.04.2024

Methoden: Spendenaufruf mit dem Ziel von 150.000 Euro. Nach Erreichen des Ziels werden Phako und RETINA-Mikroskope sowie benötigte Instrumente gekauft und an den Zielort geliefert.

Das Projekt wird unter der Aufsicht der Deutsch Arabischen Ophthalmologischen Gesellschaft (DAOG) durchgeführt und von PalMed Deutschland; dem Deutsch-Palästinensischen Ärzteforum unterstützt.

Project Overview:
Title: Ophthalmological Emergency Relief in Conflict Zones

Goal: To prevent blindness in patients following severe eye injuries in areas where medical infrastructure has been destroyed.

Start Date: April 5, 2024

Methods: Fundraising campaign with a target of €150,000. Upon reaching the goal, Phaco and RETINA microscopes, along with necessary instruments, will be purchased and delivered to the target location.

The project is conducted under the supervision of the German-Arab Ophthalmological Society (DAOG) and supported by PalMed Germany; the German-Palestinian Physicians Forum.
